Hey man - thanks - prognosis is excellent - i dont even remember why i mentioned him - i gotta leave my family out of these threads when i go on an extended rant (which was fun, but i went back and edited alot out before diana slapped me upside the head - lol)

I have heard Sandler's skit - hilarious - just heard it again a month or so ago. funny my rant made you think of it. i couldn't beat up my kitten in my condition - lol.
I love the Carrie "theyre going to laugh at you" skit too - too damn funny.

When i first read your post - i thought you typed you liked to "smoke em with your bowl" - i was thinking there was something seriously wrong with you - atleast it gave me a laugh. Glad you don't trophy hunt - i don't hunt at all (don't think i could do it but some friends do) - but i certainly have no problems with using/eating what you kill. I love venison!! Bow hunting must be pretty cool - nobler than a gun in my opinion - damn tougher too from what ive heard.
Atleast i have an indication of where you got your screen name :)

and yes the combo of the band and hunting does make my screen name! Have a good day!

Hey Folks - Click on lastcall and read his/her history of contributions here. He/She's a downer. Almost always negative. I bumped into lastcall here about a week ago, he/she was telling a new poster to "take his head out of his a**". This new poster was asking about the origin of the Rhino references. A completely valid and non-contraversial question. Yet, the poster was "jumped" for lack of knowledge.

Lastcall said he/she would show some courtesy, but that, obviously, didn't last...

If you read my initial post to this thread you'll find that It was my opinion of certain behavior. Are you saying that you'd allow an "expert" to hold your infant while teasing a wild animal (or tamed for that matter)? And about the "pull your head out of your ass" remarks. Someone who post's about a search problem and asks "do I smell a Rhino" is just trying to fan the flames. I got the impression that this person knows the current policy and was only being an ass. I'll defend my right to my opinion. I'll also defend yours.

OK, I had a different impression of the rhino-question-poster.

Dangling babies over animals is not wise. No disagreement there. Adults are to be trusted to make better choices. Risks should be taken by those who have a say in the matter. Infants shouldn't skydive either.

BUT, when it comes to fanning flames, lastcall is like a bellows.

Am I wrong?

This poor post sure turned horrendous (and i'll take my part of the responsibility on that) - Poor Steve.

Since I have acted like a "bellows" on this site once (ok , maybe more than once) - i think i'll keep my big damn mouth shut :)

peace all
peace Steve RIP

I agree, this thread fell-apart. However, look at all the action it caused. Don't feel too badly. Obviously people had alot to say about Mr Irwin and his career.

My problem is with anybody who posts for the sake of stirring the pot. If you post your true beliefs and the thread goes nuts, so be it. But slinging poo at folks with real opinions and concerns just to get a reaction is NOT what this forum is about. No opinions should be banned, but rhetoric must be self-policed.

This message is directed to ALL LMA users and not toward any individual poster. No offense intended.

LOL! What could possibly cloud your judgement at night? Could it be...umm, I don't know...WEED(definitely not Satan - Dana Carvey)?

I'm feeling a bit cloudy myself. At least our sense of humor remains firmly intact, regardless of the time of day!

I love you all...

High Flow is off to the dentist.

yeah, i read the same thing too. the pain must have been jawdropping. although several docs said he would have died regardless - the poison went strait into his heart and there would have been virtually no hope either way - pure freakish accident - and a goddamn shame in my opinion. at least he diddn't die doing something stupid like dui crash - he died doing what he loved best - just a horrific roll of the dice - its not like rays are aggressive beasts - ive swum with bull rays and they are amazingly gentle, come right up to you and rub against you - freakish at first, but they rarely rarely attack. my heart just goes out to he and terry's poor kids - but altleast they know their daddy died being a hero of environmentalism and conservation. more than my kids will be able to say when i go - damn shame. i think it is high time to do something special with my life!

Like I said, freedom of opinion is Great. I disagree, but then I'm probably bias.

what have i missed?? what a thread! I've drunk more wine on sunday & monday then even the whine here-lol
Was Irwins death just bad luck or instant Karma?
I say ya gotta die of something, he died doing what he loved, God bless him and RIP!
Imo, he pushed the envelope a bit much, i noticed it in his program (like with the Mamba) but it was his call.
The baby deal...he was sticking it to the press and the twits. Besides, his baby was too small a meal...now Tito's dog! we be talkin!

lmao - tito's dog - way too funny man. (still laughing)
glad you had a great weekend man, i'm jealous of where you were. hope you had few glasses for me :)

the funny thing is, Irwin wasn't pushing any envelope when he was killed. Ive swum with those bulls too (in open water) - and man, are they HUGE!! very gentle creatures - that one just got freaked and pure chance it caught him where it did. freakish bad luck. prayers for his kids and spouse from my neck of the woods.
